What is our history?

Zion-Lippe had it’s beginning when a group of German Immigrants established this congregation 1844. In 1957 The United Church of Christ came into existence as a union of two old world Churches (Evangelical & Reformed), and two American Churches (Congregational & Christian).

What are we today?

People who worship at Zion come from many Christian traditions. (Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, Presbyterian, etc.) We seek to serve and worship the One God who has been revealed to us through Jesus Christ. Within our fellowship we have avenues of service in the community and world. We have Christian Educational programs for people of all ages.

What is our future?

We believe that God’s love includes all people. (John 3:16)

Our mission therefore reaches out to welcome all God’s people. Our task is not to judge others, but to call and to invite and include them in God’s saving grace in Jesus Christ.
