2012 marks the 8th year of the Partners in Food Program. 
The mission of the program is to assist in the food needs of the Posey County Food Pantries: Mt. Vernon, New Harmony, St. Peter's God Store House, Salem Heusler and United Caring Shelters, Inc. The proceeds of previous year's harvest provides the working base for the next year's and were used to acquire and process beef cattle, hogs and potatoes.  Processing by Dewig Meats and Paul Goebel.

Many farmers in the community as well as financial support from local corporations and groups helps keep this successful ministry feeding our  neighbors in Posey County.
