WHAT WE DO: The Women of Zion are a supportive group in Zion Church. They provide not only a time of monthly fellowship for interested women, but they also bring before the congregation programs to help people caught in the net of poverty and injustice around the world. One group of women "The Sunbeams" provide a full mid-day meal and a program for Senior Citizens of our community several times during the year. |

WHAT WE DO TO HELP THOSE IN NEED:
The women visit shut-ins in their homes or nursing homes on a regular basis. Annnually they have service projects for Church World Service. They provide and distribute back to school items for needy children in our school district. |

HOW TO GET INVOLVED WITH US: All women of the Church and community are welcome to be a part of this group. Just look at the schedule of events at Zion and show up on the scheduled meeting date. You will be very welcome. |

WHAT WE DO FOR FUN!: The women have an annual "Miss and Mrs. Banquet" each Spring. They take part in area women gathering with the women of neighboring congregations. Each regular meeting has a program, refreshments and time for fellowship. Other special events are scheduled during the year. |
